Traveling Commercial Carpenter

We are currently looking for experienced traveling, commercial Carpenter. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a Carpenter dealing with interior finishes and renovations. Experience in the construction of restaurants, petroleum/convenience stores, bank and retail projects highly desired.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, work from lifts, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Preferred Skills

• Commercial construction experience.
• Experience working in occupied retail, restaurant, banking, healthcare, or office environments.
• Proficiency with smart phones, tablets, and construction management software.
• Ability to perform minor repairs across multiple trades.

• First-time quality completion
• Safety performance

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma
• 4 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry
• Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
