Cathedral High School is a Catholic diocesan high school of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter located in Houston, Texas. Opened in August 2022, we are a growing high school seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional to serve as Business Manager on our administrative team. The Business Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the business, financial, and operations procedures for Cathedral High School, under the supervision of the Head of School and in coordination with the administrative team. Experience in accounting or finance is required. Major Duties: Working closely with the Head of School and administrative team, oversee the business, financial, and operational affairs of the school. Develop, implement, and monitor annual budget, financial projection, and operations plan. Work closely with the Head of School to develop and monitor all internal controls. Develop financial and business reports as requested. Responsible for all bookkeeping functions such as recording, depositing, and paying all invoices and funds. Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations and monitor ledger of account. Communicate and work with bank personnel. Review the operating account on a weekly basis. Develop and prepare for the annual audit process and review. Responsible for employee payroll, tax payments, insurance, compensation, and other human resources expenses. File all returns and maintain working records of all business and payroll forms. Process correspondence related to business and financial affairs. Manage vendor relationships and supply needs. Manage operational and plant management needs of the school, in coordination with facilities staff. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Required: Business Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Accounting, business, or finance experience Administrative or Executive experience Ability to manage and complete a variety of tasks and functions Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, email, calendars, etc. Excels in professionalism, problem-solving ability, and organization Strong verbal and written communication skills Salary commensurate with experience.
