What you’ll be doing

In this role…

• You will be responsible for ensuring that all vendor invoices are received and accurately accounted for in the correct time period.
• You will ensure that all payments are made on time, preparing both monthly check runs and On Demand checks, as needed.
• You will ensure compliance with Company policies for vendor approval, collecting W9’s, issuing W9’s, etc.
• You will be responsible for the reconciliation of vendor statements and accounts payable schedules for our monthly reporting to be completed.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

• 2-3 years in an office/accounting environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dealership experience preferred
• CDK experience is a plus
• Professional demeanor and communication skills
• Sense of urgency and accuracy in a high-volume setting
• Careful attention to detail. Accuracy, precision, and thoroughness in tasks. Skillful execution of responsibilities. Dependability and commitment to meeting obligations. Prudent and conservative approach to decision-making. Conscientiousness and a strong sense of obligation. Structured and systems-oriented mindset. Inner compass for ethical decision-making. Proficiency with detail, given adequate training and time. Propensity to double-check work.
• The ability to remain steady, unhurried, and persistent in the face of challenges or unexpected situations encountered in accounts payable tasks. This competency involves maintaining a pleasant demeanor while effectively managing obstacles and being capable of accepting circumstances as they arise and making the best of them.
• Ability to demonstrate a follow-through, supportive style in completing predetermined projects while fostering a sense of connection to a common purpose within the team.
